About Jack Mitchell

Jack Mitchell Jack Mitchell studied a business degree at UCT. He started as an investment analyst at Colonial Mutual before moving to Ferguson Brothers and then on to Old Mutual as a General Manager. In 1988 he moved to become a Director of Allan Gray Ltd. He was the Chairman of Allan Gray Unit Trust and the Allan Gray Property Trust before retiring in 2007. Jack lives in Constantia, Cape Town with his long suffering wife. He occupies himself by cleaning his swimming pool with only one hand in defiance of the South-Easterly gales.
