About MacKenzie Tafira

Thirty three years ago MacKenzie was born in Zvimba, in rural Zimbabwe, in a village called Tafira, lived on a road called Tafira, and went to a school called Tafira. His father did not live long enough to explain were the name Mackenzie was from. Maybe he met an interesting Scotsman on his travels. MacKenzie has a degree in Human Resources and was driven from his country like so many others who fled injustice, persecution and poverty. He is part of the huge Diaspora that has settled in South Africa and he hopes and prays that one day him, his wife and children will be able to go home again.
